Price per pair.  A set of one of the original La Marie transparent chair's designed by Philippe Starck for Kartell. Produced in 1999 it was the first completely transparent chair in the world, made of polycarbonate in a single mould.
There are so many reasons to buy these chairs. They are seen as a work of art and form part of the MOMA furniture collection in New York.
The design is both classic and contemporary and the transparency allows for a feeling of spaciousness in your home. They are so popular that they are still manufactured today. Heal's sell them for £250 per chair.

On a practical level they are lightweight and easy to move around, are stackable, easy to clean and are suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
These chairs were some of the first produced - manufactured in 2000. One of the chairs has 'La Marie by Starck for Kartell, Made in Italy and an arrow pointing to 00 (2000) imprinted on a back panel. The other chair has no back panel but is part of the set.

They are in a good used condition with some surface scratches and scuffs as expected (please see photos). The chair on the left has a deeper scratch but is not easily seen as you will see from the photos. The last photo I have managed to get light from the sky light onto it so that it is more visible.
The price if for a set of 2.

The Kartell stepladder can be found for sale on a separate listing.
