An elegant set of 4 Ercol Quaker Dining Chairs from the Windsor range. Made from elm and beech these dining chairs have clean lines and soft curved edges. The chair bow is steam bent from a single piece of ash shaped to give its subtle and elegant profile. This design dates from the 50's and is so popular that it is still made by Ercol today (retailing at £535 per chair). 3 of the 4 chairs have the blue Ercol label on the back of the seats (dating them from 1954 to 1976).
These chairs have been well used and well cared for. It shows how well crafted they are that approximately 65 years since they were made that they are still in a great condition. There is some wear and tear on the tops of the back rail and a few nicks and scratched as expected for their age (please see photos).
