This 8 drawer Architect's wooden cabinet has wooden handles and the original brass name plates. Originally intended to store architect's plans, this unit would also be great for storing maps, art work, stationery and large files. It is built in 3 parts, making is easy to manoeuvre. The top missing drawer has been replaced with hardwood which has been stained to blend in with the rest of the cabinet, making it ideal for placing newly painted pieces of art, or anything you need quick access to. The bottom drawers needs a few tugs to open it.
The cabinet has been sanded and oiled to enhance the richness of the wood and to protect it.
This sturdy and characterful piece of furniture has nicks, chips and signs of being well loved and well used (please study the photos carefully). At over 85 years old it is would make both a practical and historical addition to any home or place of work.
