A stylish contemporary 1950s Lusty's chair on a black tubular steel frame. The chair has the traditional Lloyd Loom woven fibre body shape but was subtly modernised and is often referred to as a 'satellite' chair. The colour is the original No. 25 light rose from Lusty's colour chart. The original 1950's Lusty celluloid label can be seen underneath the frame of the chair.
This lovely chair has been well cared for and the fibre weave is all in tact. The seat of the chair is a slightly brighter pink than the back, suggesting that a seat cushion has protected it from fading a little. There are a few tiny places where the paint has chipped off - the more noticable one pictured in photo 11. The black tubular legs have a lovely aged patina to them. It is a chair that will add style to whichever room you decide to place it in.
