A beautiful coat & hat stand from the Edwardian era made from stripped pine. The attention to detail is apparent in the decorative fretwork, coving, mirrors and the shape of the 7 metal coat hooks. The top 2 coat hooks are unusual in that they are set at an angle so that coats can hand down the side of the stand. There is a small drawer handy for storing keys and a narrow cupboard with a shelf. Either side of the cupboard are umbrella stands with circular metal bases and at the top middle of the stand there is a very useful mirror and small shelf.
This coat & hat stand has been well cared for. There are a few white paint speckles particularly to the right of the base of the metal umbrella stand. Also there is a small piece of fretwork missing from the ornate fretwork to the right (please study the photos and video). However they do not detract from the beauty of this Edwardian hand crafted hall stand.
