My interest in antique and vintage furniture originated in scouring Antique Fairs for original and unusual items of clothing and then naturally moved onto furniture when I bought my first house in Manchester. I love the idea of mixing vintage, antique and modern furniture to create a unique look and have enjoyed styling each house we have lived in from a Victorian terrace to a converted barn.
It was moving to the South Lakes a few years ago, where I have had the opportunity of meeting such talented entrepreneurs in the area and also having access to the wide range of furniture that comes out of the doors of large farm and country houses, small cottages, terraces and apartments, that inspired me to start my own business.
I leave no corner unturned in my desire to provide you with furniture with style that will accentuate your home, that is of good quality and more practically that will serve a purpose.
Any furniture which needs a little extra attention given to it, we will restore.
My husband is the supportive partner in the business, transporting furniture (aka 'the muscle' as one young seller laughingly described him), sourcing photography equipment and providing IT support for the website - alongside his day job.
We hope you like what you see and do not hesitate to contact us if you would like us to source items for your home or business.
