A really stylish set of teak drawers as you would expect from the designer E Gomme. He was an extraordinary visionary for British furniture design. In response to the deficit of attractive and well made furniture, Gomme pioneered a range of furniture for G Plan which grew to become one of Britain's most iconic brands.

The first set of 3 drawers measure 13cm in height so handy for smaller items of clothing - then gradually increase in height until the last drawer which is 18cm. So practical as well as stylish. The drawers sit on a lovely black and gold base and all the drawers have gold curved handles with a lovely patina to them.

This chest of drawers has been cleaned and the sides and top (which were coated in a heavy dark lacquer) have been sanded and coated in Danish oil. This has brought out the lovely grain in the teak and the lighter appearance now blends with the colour of the drawers.

It is in a lovely condition -( the front of the drawers vary in colour slightly in places -please see photos, ) and would be a stylish and practical vintage addition to your home.
