Such a simple but beautifully designed wicker stool. Attributed to Tony Paul who was an American designer known for his innovative work in industrial and furniture design. His creations became icons of mid-century design and are still highly prized by collectors and design enthusiasts today.
This stool from the 1950s has certainly been well cared for as all the wicker is in tact. Only one of the legs shows a slight sign of wear (see photos).
This is a very characterful little stool whilst also being strong and sturdy - very useful for perching on, resting your feet or displaying a plant on. A lovely mid-century addition to your home.
