Another wonderful piece of Ercol furniture specially designed in the late 20th century for displaying CDs but also accommodates DVD's. The bevel edged glass fronted opens to reveal 2 removable shelves at 2cm thick, which can be placed at differing heights of 14cm, 22cm, 30cm and 45.5 cm from the base of the cabinet. One of the shelves has a CD dividing strip to hold the CDs in place. (This part of the cabinet has an interior of 32cm wide x 15.5 cm depth.)
To the right hand side of the cabinet there are 3 removable shelves which will also hold CDs (and if you remove a shelf DVD's too). One of the shelves also has a CD dividing strip. These shelves are 12 cm wide x 16.5 cm deep.
The left hand side of the cabinet is the same as the right with 3 removable shelves. A couple of them have small nail holes in them as though they were partitioned.
The top of the cabinet really shows the lovely grain of the elm wood. It is in a good condition with just one small dark scratch on the surface and part of a cup ring. (Please see photos).
Although designed for displaying CD's this versatile cabinet can also be used to display collectibles.
