A rare pair of vintage teak bedside cabinets, manufactured by Meredew. Meredew started off in the East End of London and became one of the 4 main domestic manufacturing companies of the 50s and 60s, transferring to a base in Letchworth.
These cabinets are both practical with their two drawers and integrated handles, and also stylish with a modernist look to them. They would certainly add vintage style to a bedroom. The Meredew label can be found at the back of the top drawer.
The cabinet on the left shows a little more wear to it then the one on the right, with a slight mottled look to the wood - perhaps from standing in direct light (please see photos). However it does not detract from it's overall look and use.
Price is for the pair.
