A stunning sideboard from Ercol. This is a rare 507B Windsor sideboard crafted from elm with sculpted handles and dovetail joints. It has a double cupboard with a shelf that can be adjusted to 5 different heights. The single cupboard has a cutlery drawer with wood separators that can be adjusted to different widths. There are two very useful wooden drawers above the cupboards. Inset on top of the sideboard are 2 more double slimline cupboards; the cupboard on the left having 1 glass shelf that can be removed and the one on the right has 2 glass shelves that can be adjustable to 8 different heights. Even the back of this beautiful sideboard is panelled enabling this sideboard to be used as a room divider. This all sits on top of shepherd castors making it so easy to move around. The grain in the elm wood is beautiful and gives extra style to this already stylish sideboard. The dimensions for the sideboard are such that although very useful for storage it does not dominate a room.
The sideboard has been well loved and is in a very good vintage condition. There are a few minor scuffs on the edges of the top and lower sideboard - please see video and photos. A shelf has been made for the single cupboard which fits below the cutlery drawer -although not made from elm wood it could be useful.
