The Marino sofa is inspired by the Ercol design classics, its smooth flowing elegant lines are created by steam bending the solid ash arms, using traditional craftsmanship and modern furniture making techniques, to create a striking contemporary and comfortable range  referencing the qualities and features of ercol design classics.  The feature turned spindles, and deep cushions give a firm and controlled support and all combine to create a striking and contemporary sofa that seats two with ease.
The Ercol Marino Chair and sofa designer Dylan Freeth was awarded a 2016 Design Guild Mark from the Furniture Makers' Company UK for excellence in furniture design.
Ercol partnered with Grown in Britain (GiB) to make these Marino pieces in British-Certified ash timber.
This marino sofa produced in 2018 is in an excellent used condition. The wood shows no signs of age and the seat and back cushions looks as though they have only had light use. It is popular and still available today on Ercol's website at £2735.
There is a hardly noticeable light stain on one of the seat covers - I've taken a photo of it but it is hard to see (photo 10).
Green cushions are not included.
