Price per unit, 2 available. Crafted from high-quality Bent-Wood, these Mid-Century Room Dividers were designed by Ludvik Volak, in which the shelves form an interesting geometric composition suitable for placing a variety of different-sized plants, books or ornaments onto. They were manufactured in Czech Republic for Drevopodnik Holesov in the 1960s, who specialized in creating high-quality wooden furnishings and are perfect for those who wish to add an eye-catching vintage statement to their living room, study, or commercial space like a hotel lobby or cocktail bar, as well as providing a way of dividing a room into different areas whilst maintaining a feeling of light and space. Thanks to their square edges and geometric patterns, these room dividers can also be used as wall-mounted shelving units. It is very rare to find pieces like this in the UK as these vintage room dividers were produced as a limited-edition product and sold for just 5 years. They are original pieces and have lived a life and therefore show signs of patina and cosmetic wear. The finish shows wear and tear in some places, which can be seen in the photos and one of the dividers has a split at one side showing a historical repair. Despite this, as well as being sculptural works of art they are also very strong and sturdy and would add style and beauty to any home or place of work. The price is per unit. Chair available on separate listing.NB: For furniture deliveries south of London/Bristol, north of Glasgow/ Edinburgh, Ireland and the islands please contact me with your postcode for a delivery quote.
