A Model 97 rocking chair designed by Georg Jensen and produced by Kubus in Denmark in the mid 1950’s.
This is definitely one of the more distinctive Danish rocker designs with its elegant teak boomerang-shaped base, stylish sleek frame and gently reclining outline. The blue and cream upholstery matches perfectly with the warm tones of the teak wood frame.
Both stylish and practical this chair is a real statement piece for your home.
The chair is in an excellent vintage condition. The wood has been treated with a nourishing wood cleaner. It appears to have been re-upholstered, partly because the base of the chair has new screw holes in it but also due to the excellent condition of the upholstery.
