An elegant and stylish set of 6 Quaker 365 Gold Dawn Ercol Windsor dining chairs. Designed in the 50s and manufactured in 1980s they are made from solid elm and beech and are a charming variation of the traditional Windsor theme. The classic simplicity of the tall domed back has a special appeal. The chair bow is steam bent from a single piece of ash shaped to give its subtle and elegant profile. Each chair has the Ercol Gold label on them which can be found underneath the seat. They also have the original seat pads and covers with them which would add a cottagecore look to your home or otherwise the covers can be easily replaced.
These chairs have been well cared for over their lifetime and the original cushions have protected the chair seats. There are a few minor nicks and scratches on the chairs and a small crack on the seat of one chair which has not affected the stability of the chair (please see photos). Price for set of 6 chairs.
