A beautiful ornate vintage/antique gilt wall mirror. The frame has been intricately carved from wood with scroll and foliate detailing then gilded to give a lovely gold finish. It is very much of the Rococo style with it's curves and leaf-like motifs designed to impress and awe at first sight. It would look lovely as a 'stand alone' mirror, over a mantlepiece or above a console or dressing table.
It was been well cared for and is in a very good vintage condition (please see photos) with no signs of foxing on the mirror.
