This teak and teak veneer cabinet is a lovely compact storage place. The sliding glass doors are practical in keeping the contents dust free and and also add extra style to the cabinet. There is a beautiful grain in the teak wood which adds a natural pattern. The cabinet be used as a drinks cabinet, somewhere to store your favourite vintage and antique collectibles, as a book case or a variety of all 3.
The cabinet as it is will accommodate the height of spirit but not wine bottles, however the shelf (which is slightly warped) is not fixed and with some adjustments the gap between the base of the cabinet and the shelf could be increased.
It has been well cared for and the teak is in a good condition. The sliding glass doors do not have the usual glass indents to enable the doors to be easily opened so transparent handles have been added. These are made from PU and are self adhesive and add a practical solution to opening the doors without detracting from the character of this vintage cabinet.
