A versatile mid century drinks trolley designed by Lucian Ercolani for Ercol. It's made from elm wood with tapered beech legs. The three tiers provide a large area for food and drink and with this rarer model there's even more space when the side leaves are lifted into place. It is equally useful as a drinks cart with the space between the 2nd and 3rd tier tall enough to store wine and spirit bottles; and/or as a tea, coffee and cake trolley. Practically it is light to handle whilst looking elegant, can revolve on its own axis and moves quietly at a touch on semi concealed castors.
It is in a good vintage condition with a small mark on the 3rd tier (see photo 10 ) and some discolouration on the top tier (see photo 9).
