A lovely mahogany antique book rest. It has 8 different wooden 'settings' depending on at what height you want the book to be placed. It has lovely brass hinges and holder for the book.
It would also be useful for holding music books, knitting patterns or recipes.
It is in a good antique condition. There is a slight warp to the rest when it is folded flat and there is no key for locking it shut. However this does not detract from it's overall use.
