This is a stunning Art Deco oak sideboard. It has beautiful fruit and floral carvings on the doors and sides of the mirror which are enhanced by the curved beading on the doors and the lovely curved mirror. The oak wood has a lovely grain to it.

It has been well cared for in a Lake District hotel where the four wooden drawers have been used to store cutlery, serviettes and table linen. One of the shelves lined in green felt has been used to store glasses and in the right hand cupboard there is a 'cellarette' which conveniently holds 4 drinks bottles (when not in use there is a board to cover the holes so that you can store whatever you like there). All are neatly labelled. This sits atop four legs, two of which again look very ornate.

It is amazing to think that it is nearly 100 years old and is in such lovely condition with only a few small surface scratches on it. It would look equally at home in a lounge or dining room as a drinks/storage cabinet or in a bathroom as a linen cupboard.
