This low sideboard is an excellent quality piece of Ercol furniture that dates to the 1960s, and it's an extremely popular blue label model from the equally popular Windsor range.

It's well constructed and made from solid elm, and the dovetailed joints across the top and bottom of both sides emphasise how well constructed it is, as do the full length hinges which are fitted to the doors.

The 2 dovetailed drawers and all 3 doors are fitted with hugely stylish oval inset handles which form such an appealing feature of the Windsor range, and the double door cupboard is fitted with a height adjustable shelf. The right hand cupboard is fitted with a removable cutlery drawer which has adjustable divides.

The underside of the sideboard is fitted with original shepherds casters which allow for better mobility.

It is no surprise that the 467 version of this iconic Windsor cabinet designed by Ercol's founder Lucian Ercolani in 1962 was reissued in 2020 to mark Ercol's centenary.

It has been well looked after and has some minor marks on the cabinet top and front (please see photos which you can zoom in on) which are only noticeable in a bright light.
