This large railway style wall clock makes a great impact on a room. It is 50cm in diameter and was made by the famous clock makers, Newgate of London. It is one of Newgate's grandest clocks, named Panama, and is a reproduction of the traditional 19th century station clock, with a 12cm deep dark oak casing. The clock face has an aged cream background (which when laid flat looks slightly rippled but amazingly these become invisible when hung), elegant Roman numerals and delicate, intricate clock hands. The face is made in perspex which keeps it from being too heavy and also adds a safety element to it. It is a battery operated clock which keeps very good time.
There are a few nicks on the front of the clock (please see photos) but they not deter from it's overall handsome appearance.
